 There are lots of dogs of different kinds here --almost like a dog show-- on Sundays. I'm usually really scared of dogs, and never really was a dog person, but these two almost identical bulldogs got my attention. They're super huge -- i think also overweight-- and they looked really tired, which made them look even more adorbz! And of course, they're bulldogs so the excessive salivating was expected. :))  i asked permission from the owners if i could take photos of them, and they let me naman. They're so cute i couldnt help it!  Owners even asked me to go near the dogs pa for better pictures, but i couldnt get myself to move any closer na. :p

Uke by candlelight = surreal moment

Power outage in our area was unexpected as heavy rain was almost over when it happened. Anyway, the gloomy weather and the pitch black darkness started creeping in, so I strategically started placing candles in the living room (to keep the place from burning down.) I grabbed my ukulele, my chord sheets, and some blank papers, and started to feel the vibe. Throughout the whole time, songs like "Keep holding on" by Avril Lavigne, and "Everybody hurts" by R.E.M kept playing in my head, and I kept imagining how hard it is for the families trying to hold on to each other, amidst the disaster that our Filipino people is currently facing. and so, I started playing the songs on my ukulele. 
just so you know, Uke by candlelight = surreal moment. Power outage lasted for two hours. Only downside of it was that i couldn't sing at the top of my lungs for the room was really quiet. 
Well, who the heck sings with so much passion at 3 in the morning, anyway?

picnic

 We took a speedboat from San pablo, Cotabato to Parang.

 Not exactly sure where this is, but i think it's what they call the "Bukana." 

 Got to see the ongoing construction of the 'Padang-padang Adventure' zip line project in Parang, too.

  This is a beach in Parang municipality called the "Zone beach." 

We were invited by Bapa Doc for a picnic with his family last April 23, 2012 --- which was my summer vacay. 

I went there with my dad, kuya and my lil sister, Yanna --sad that mom and sis Ainee were not able to join us. 

Anyway, here are the long-overdue pictures taken with my phone, that i wanted to share with you -- but wasn't able to, because of not having my own desktop in my province. 
(I still prefer to work with the machines i gave names to. :p)
